PUMP & MOTOR TEST STANDS
Universal Hydraulic Test Systems
Overview
Our universal digital test stand is a modular system with a centralized
hydraulic power unit that supplies multiple test benches. Each bench
operates independently with its own flow and pressure control for
maximum efficiency and flexibility.

Pressure Testing for Leak and Burst
Our test stands can perform a routine that includes the following:
Ramp and Hold
- Pressure increases at a set rate and then holds at a set point for a specified amount time.
Ramp to Burst
- Once a burst is detected by a drop in pressure, the test ends, the residual pressure is removed, and the part isolated.
Leak Test
- This test is used in conjunction with a ramp hold. The pressure increases to a setpoint and the part is isolated with the automatic valves. The pressure is monitored during the set time period and the deviation recorded. If the deviation is outside of the limits, the test is aborted.
Sinusoidal Pressure Cycling
- The part is subjected to a sinusoidal pressure with a trough, peak, and frequency setpoint.
Square Wave Cycling
- Similar to Sinusoidal but the rise and fall to the setpoints is performed as fast as possible.
Flow Testing for Performance and Calibration
Flow testing rigs provide for controlled flow, independent of pressure and normally included thermal conditioning for both heat input and removal. Precise temperature control is most often a requirement for these tests.
Technics Assembly & Test’s systems is used in production operations for both validation and calibration of pressure control devices and metering systems.
